Boniface of Tarsus (died 306) was a Roman soldier assigned to collect relics of martyrs but converted after witnessing their courage. He was martyred during the Diocletian persecution when he refused to renounce his newfound faith. His conversion story demonstrates how observing authentic Christian witness can transform even hardened hearts. He became a symbol of sudden but genuine conversion.
