Archbishop who converted the Visigothic kingdom from Arianism to Catholicism through patient dialogue.
Leander served as Archbishop of Seville (534-601). He worked tirelessly to convert the Arian Visigoths to Catholic Christianity. Through patient dialogue and his influence on King Reccared, he achieved the conversion of the entire kingdom. Brother of Saints Isidore, Fulgentius, and Florentina. His efforts unified Spain religiously and culturally.
