Abraham Kidunaia (290-366) left his bride at the altar to dedicate his life to God, becoming a hermit near Edessa. He gave his inheritance to the poor, converted a pagan town through persistent preaching, and famously rescued his niece Mary from prostitution, showing merciful love.
