Apostolic Age (1st century)
Feast: June 29 (with St. Peter)
A persecutor turned apostle whose letters still shape how the Church hears grace.
Saul of Tarsus encountered the risen Christ on the road to Damascus, was baptized, and preached across the Roman world. Beaten, shipwrecked, and imprisoned, he wrote epistles on justification, the Body of Christ, and love. Tradition holds he was martyred in Rome.
